The restyling of Society’s Boutique in Milan, a contemporary reinterpretation of the traditional haberdashery shop

Society Limonta’s boutique in Milan, the first flagship store opened in 2006, in Via Palermo 1, in the heart of Brera, presents a new display concept led by a long-awaited change: the new packaging

During Milan Design Week 2021, Society Limonta presents the new packaging, a fully sustainable box made of 100% recycled cardboard. A conscious decision to substitute more refined materials with more eco-friendly options, where the “less is more” concept is predominant, favouring practicality and sustainability.

The restyling of the Milan flagship store in via Palermo 1 is once again under the direction of Ferruccio Laviani who, inspired by an elegant simplicity, combines Society’s contemporary looks with the atmosphere of traditional shops.

The new look, inspired by the traditional haberdashery shops, guides clients through a textile journey where they can feel the different fabrics and appreciate the multiple colour options. The shop, divided in two different spaces by an inner courtyard, is furnished with displays in thin iron and wood. The chest of drawers become hanging shelves that make the most of the high ceilings of the building and, like in the old haberdashery shops, leave the cardboard boxes in full sight.

A mix of style and nature, welcoming cosiness and simplicity, perfectly located in one of the most important destinations for interior design worldwide. Brera Design District preserves the beautiful, down to earth allure of the old days, becoming a window on modernity at the same time.
